1. Google Shopping is no longer free
2. Google Adwords launched Product Listing Ads (PLAs)
3. eBay purchased the Magento shopping cart platform
4. Bing Cashback shut down (remember that?)
5. Microsoft adCenter became Bing Ads
6. Mobile eCommerce became very strong
7. Google launched Merchant Center dynamic datafeed enabled retargeting
8. Google Affiliate Network shut down
9. Shopping.com became the eBay Commerce Network
