Shopify just launched a merchant processing program which is fully integrated into their popular shopping cart system. Merchants can sign up directly with Shopify and get rates as low as 2.25% + $0.30 per transaction.

Shopify Payments Launched for US Customers

This week, we are excited to launch Shopify Payments, a powerful and easy-to-use credit card processing system that offers an unprecedented level of integration with Shopify stores. Shopify merchants can now accept and manage payments directly through Shopify instead of having to go through a third-party gateway.

In addition to seamless integration with the Shopify admin, Shopify Payments offers a number of unique features and benefits to merchants, including:

• Instant set-up and approval: New stores are automatically set up with Shopify Payments so merchants can start selling immediately.
• Real-time payment tracking: Store owners can track their active payment balance and upcoming payout schedule, and can be notified by email when funds hit their bank account.
• Fully integrated: Within the Shopify admin, payments will be synced with corresponding orders, making it easier than ever for merchants to understand how much they have been paid for individual orders, without ever leaving Shopify.
• Chargeback recovery: For any chargebacks received, Shopify automatically provides responses custom-generated from the order, shipping, and customer details of the disputed charge. Merchants can respond to chargebacks with just one click for the chance of recovering lost sales.

Shopify makes it easy for merchants to pick the credit card rate that is right for their business as part of their Shopify plan. Additionally, we’ll waive the transaction fees for shops using Shopify Payments. And unlike other payment solutions, Shopify Payments charges no additional fees for accepting American Express or international credit cards, and no fees for included PCI Compliance protections.
