Shopify Launches A POS System To Integrate Physical Storefronts With The Web

Shopify has been releasing a lot of new features recently. It looks as if their goal is to be the complete backbone of your business. A few weeks ago they replaced your merchant account with a Shopify powered credit card processing system. This time they are launching a full fledged Point-of-Sale System which is completely integrated into your Shopify store.

Shopify says that their POS system, Shopify POS, “is an iPad application that lets you sell your Shopify store’s products in a physical, retail setting.”

Today we’re excited to announce Shopify POS, a brand new, fully integrated point of sale system that bridges the gap between offline and online retail.

Shopify POS delivers in-store and online inventory synchronization, out-of-the-box credit card processing, and detailed reporting – all bundled in an easy-to-use, beautiful looking setup that you can take anywhere.

If you run an online store and a brick-and-mortar retail operation, we know you’re going to love it.

Shopify POS systems have a large portion of the market. This point of sale system more user friendly and less likely that you will not incorrectly use or count the items. One of the most important things Shopify POS delivers in-store and online inventory. Thanks for your blog idea.
