Google Marketing Live 2019 – Trends and New Developments We’re Super Excited About

JXT Group is super proud to have been invited to attend Google Marketing Live 2019 in San Francisco! This has been our second year attending this exclusive event – JXT Group was included as one of Google’s Premier Partners and top advertisers worldwide.

Here’s a recap of 3 of the latest Google Ads innovations we’re excited to see coming up this year:

1 . Discovery Ads

According to Brad Bender (who leads Display & Video Advertising for Google), “A key theme this year is discovery.” With this theme in mind, new Google Discovery Ads will help people to not only search for something specific but to discover something new.

The new Discovery Ads will not only be formatted to run seamlessly across YouTube and Gmail, and there will also be a new Google Discover feed.

This new format opens up a whole new realm of possibilities for advertisers. Now, you’ll be able to launch a Discovery campaign that will be targeted with audiences, not keyword searches, in mind.

Discover Campaigns are set to roll out and be available globally by later this year.

2. New Features Available for Local Campaigns

If you run a local business, you will soon have new features available to you on the Google platform.

One of the biggest new developments for local businesses is a new inventory available in Google Maps. With this feature, you can now showcase your locations in more places.

Another big announcement is that local campaigns will now be available to more and more advertisers, including small businesses. Google will also be enhancing the ad format for local campaigns so that you can display information that is specific to your products and offers.

This might be the advertising boost your local business needs to grow in 2019!

3. The New Google Shopping Experience

Another big announcement is a new experience for Google Shopping that will incorporate Google Express for seamless user experience.

The new Google Shopping experience starts with a new personalized homepage that will feature several product categories.  Much like the homepages currently available for Target or Amazon, this new experience is designed to encourage browsing.

Shoppers will easily be able to see product specifications, read reviews, and even watch videos! Also, Google’s delivery service, Google Express, will be integrated with the experience so that shoppers can purchase directly from Google.

For advertisers, this means your advertising, local retail, and purchasing transactions can now happen all together right on Google where potential customers are already searching for what it is you have to offer.

Here at JXT Group, we can’t wait to see the positive impact these new Google developments will have for the businesses and companies we serve! We’re excited to be in partnership with Google to keep on the cutting-edge of these new trends in online marketing.

Here’s what Menachem Ani, the founder, and CEO of JXT Group, had to say about this year’s Google Marketing Live event: “It’s great to see the innovation in advertising products from Google. As the world moves towards machine learning and automation, it’s important to ensure your advertising strategy lines up with the customer journey.”
